Concealers 101

Concealers come in many different forms. Just like foundation, the correct concealer should be chosen. Concealers come in sticks, liquids, and powder.

Stick concealer is very thick and has the most coverage. Stick concealer does not blend well. This is used on scars and small blemishes and not used around the eyes. The skin around the eyes is very sensitive and blending the makeup may be too harsh. Use the stick to apply the concealer onto the skin and a makeup sponge to blend.

Liquid concealer can be used anywhere on the face. It works well on acne, under eyes, redness, and dark spots. It has medium coverage and is easier to blend. Fingers, concealer brushes, and the Green Spade sponge are all tools that can be used when applying concealer.
