How To Transform “Office” Makeup to Evening Makeup

Heading to an event after a long day in the office but don’t have time to go home and give yourself that evening look? Pack the right tools and you will be good to go!

Eye shadow, eyeliner, eyelash curler, lipstick and your blending sponge will be your best friends to mix up that day time makeup to a glamorous evening look. First off, wet your blending sponge and dab it on your skin to remove any stale makeup and spread it more evenly over your face. If you feel you need more foundation, simply pack a powder compact and freshen up any spots. Next, apply darker eye shadow to your lids. You can do anything from one color of eye shadow to an elegant smokey eye. The eyeliner goes hand in hand with the eye shadow– depending on how you wear the shadow will depend on the liner. If you’re going for just a simple eye, line the upper lid with a thin line of eyeliner just to open up the eyes. If going for something more dramatic like a smokey eye or cat eye, make the eyeliner thicker and darker, and don’t be afraid to smudge it a little bit (smudging it will not make the liner look so harsh.) After the eyeliner, touch up your lashes with the eyelash curler. Curl the base, the middle of the lash and the tip. Just be sure you are gentle with the curler, assuming you have mascara on already.

These simple steps will allow you to quickly transform your day time makeup to evening makeup in no time! Go out and enjoy the night.
